Baby Christian
Christian was born with two very rare congenital heart defects; Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and Endocardial Fibroelastosis (EFE) He will require three (two down, one to go!) open-heart surgeries to sustain life. He is a miracle and a blessing. We are so greatful to have him here with us. Thank you for stopping in.

Ten months!
My mom is nagging me to update y'all so here we go! Boy is this child growing... and fast! He is now over 15 lbs. and not only crawling, but standing UNSUPPORTED! He'l be walking any day now! He has four top teeth and two bottom teeth! it feels like I just brought him home and he's almost a year old! Crazy how time goes by! Christian and I took a trip to Eugene to visit a friend who just had a baby two months ago and we had a blast. Not too much more to report, enjoy the pictures!

Thank you so much for commenting on my blog, gmashaveheart.blogspot.com. Boy, our heart babies are handsome, aren't they! What spirit and intelligence I see in baby Christian's big brown eyes. The love and support you all give to each other is beautiful to see. Christian is so lucky to have you and you are lucky to have such a brave little precious boy, as well. My grandson, Drew was born with multiple CHD and with DiGeorge syndrome. We didn't know until he was born. He is four years old and just had his third open heart surgery and is doing great! I love him and his heart-healthy baby sister so much it hurts.
