Just got the call from the nurse. The repair is underway and he is doing great. We will get another call around 1:30.

Christian was born with two very rare congenital heart defects; Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and Endocardial Fibroelastosis (EFE) He will require three (two down, one to go!) open-heart surgeries to sustain life. He is a miracle and a blessing. We are so greatful to have him here with us. Thank you for stopping in.

I think you are all so strong, Denise. Our little guy's surgery was so short in comparison and we were total basket cases. We are sure praying. Thanks for taking the time to update. I'm anxiously awaiting the next one!
